19 business organizations from Gipuzkoa participate in the second workshop on circular economy organized by Naturklima and Tecnun

19 business organizations from Gipuzkoa have participated in the second circular economy workshop held at the Ibaeta campus in Tecnun and promoted by Naturklima and Tecnun within the framework of the 2050 Urban Klima project.

Based on the analysis which the group of contributing organizations carried out in the first workshop in July, they have delved into the barriers, opportunities, weaknesses and strengths that companies have when it comes to driving the circular economy in their products, services or processes. Distributed by thematic blocks - raw materials, water and energy, by-products and waste, market, consumer and awareness and legislation-certification-, the people involved discussed the opportunity offered by eco-design, the need to clarify and regularize concepts such as eco, bio or sustainable. They have also concluded that some organizations have been directly affected by the effects of climate change either at their local facilities or through their supply chain.
