We will launch pilot projects at three levels of intervention: coast, river basins and urban/peri-urban areas, scalable to other areas of the Basque Country and to other regions.

Results:

  1. Implementation and monitoring of Natural Solutions in the 3 historical territories
  2. Development of sustainable mobility projects in Bizkaia and Araba/Álava
  3. Implementation of projects to promote renewable energies
  4. Restoration and renaturalisation to deal with floods and extreme weather events
  5. Improvements in the monitoring network and prediction systems for adaptation to climate change
  6. Improving the resilience of natural and artificial coastal areas
