The consortium, which has new partners: BEC SOLAR, CADEM, Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council and Euskalmet, met on Tuesday 5th November.

The LIFE Urban Klima 2050 project met its partners in the Management Committee on Tuesday 5th November to share the assessment made by CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency) of Phase II of the project approved by the European body last September and for which an interim payment of almost €3 million has been received.

At the meeting, the technical and administrative aspects were reviewed along with the improvements identified in the assessment that will enable the project's decisive final phase to be addressed in the best possible way.

Furthermore, the Committee has notified the 20 initial partners of the modification of the partnership agreement for the incorporation of 4 new partners by means of an amendment that has already been approved for the proper implementation of the project. Therefore, BEC SOLAR, CADEM, Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council and the Basque Meteorological Agency - Euskalmet, which has become a full partner and strengthens its role within the project, have joined the consortium of the largest climate action project in the Basque Country.

During the meeting, progress made in the different areas of Urban Klima 2050 was also detailed: We analyse, Define, Act, Empower and Manage. Finally, the results of the survey sent by Ihobe to representatives of all the partner organisations were shared, showing a high level of satisfaction with the project, highlighting positive aspects of its development and identifying areas for improvement.
