Urban Klima 2050 shares climate action experiences aimed at citizens in the Ekoetxea network

The Urban Klima 2050 website includes experiences planned by the Basque Network of Environmental Centres on climate change.
The LIFE IP Urban Klima 2050 project has joined the Ekoetxea, the Basque Network of Environmental Centres, in its commitment to the planet and to preserving a future that will ensure our natural and cultural heritage for generations to come. To this end, from now on the Urban Klima 2050 project will provide information on the experiences that the Ekoetxea Network offers on climate change via different sections of its website.
The Ekoetxea Network has a wide range of interactive, real and immersive experiences on subjects including climate change, which aim to help citizens to be part of the change and encourage eco-social transformation towards more sustainable ways of thinking and acting.
The four Ekoetxea centres that make up the network - Urdaibai, Meatzaldea, Azpeitia and Txingudi - have a wide range of experiences on offer on biodiversity, the circular economy and climate change every weekend, in the form of workshops, tours, games and even shows. These activities, which are now also available on the home page of the Urban Klima 2050 project's website, in the Agenda section or the specific section on Action C.7.1: Citizen training courses on climate action, complement the various activities organised by Urban Klima 2050 to engage citizens in climate action. Users can use these sections to find out at which centre each of the experiences is taking place, what they consist of, the date and times, the price, and the target audience.
